Jessamyn Duke defeats Sarah Cook



On Saturday April, 2 at Absolute Action MMA XII: "The Aniversary" in Florence, Kentucky.

#20 ranked 145-pound fighter Jessamyn Duke (2-1-0) defeated #21 ranked 145-pound fighter Sarah Cook (2-2-0) by submission (rear-naked choke) in the first round of their 145-pound amateur championship match.

Jessamyn is coming off of the first loss of her career in the Tuff-N-Uff 145-pound tournament where she was defeated by Ashlee Evans-Smith.

Jessamyn is set to begin shooting for a reality telivision show that will air on VH-1 that will focus on the lives of female mixed martial artist in and out of the cage.

She trains at Team AFS in Richmond, Kentucky where she is coached by Scott Elliott.
