Unsigned Hype: "The Featherweights"

There are 5 major global promotions that sign women fighters to long term contracts :UFC, Invicta, Bellator, XFL International and Cage Warriors.

What I will do is list fighters who are not signed to any of the 5 major promotions and tell you a little about them. They will be listed in order of highest ranked fighter.

1. Mizuho Sato 6-6-1

Mizuho is a 145lbs fighter from Tokyo, Japan. She trains at Wajutsu Kishukai Tokyo.

She holds notable wins against Michiko Takeda and Mayumi Aoki. Two of her wins have come by armbar.

2. Arlene "Angerfist" Blencowe 5-4-0

Arlene is a 31 year old 5'5 145lbs fighter from Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia where she trains at Beestingz in St. Mary's.

She holds notable wins against Invicta FC fighter Faith VanDuin and Kenani Mangakahia.

3. Lissette Neri 5-0-0

Lissette is a 27 year old 5'2 145lbs fighter originally from Rosemead, California and now living in Hisperia, California. She trains at Universal Grappling Academy.

She holds a notable win against Tierra Arnold.

4. Gabby "Gabanator" Holloway 3-1-0

Gabby is a 24 year old 5'4 145lbs fighter originally from Washington D.C. and now living in Orange Virginia, where she is a National Guard Supply Specialist. She trains at Zamora Boxing in Culpepper, Virginia where she is coached by Eric Zamora.

she holds notable wins against Rosanna Garcia and Invicta FC fighter Andria Wawro.

It was my understanding that Gabby was singed to XFCi, she is even listed on their website as a Flyweight,  but when I spoke to Gabby and asked her if she was signed to an exclusive contract, she said it was a one fight non exclusive contract she signed in January of this year and that she has yet to be offered a fight with the promotion.

5. Kilistina "Killa" Makihele 2-0-0

Kilistina is a 5'6 145lbs fighter originally from Sacramento, California and now living in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She holds notable wins against Rachel Kemker and Heather Martin.

Killa is dropping down from 160lbs the weight she fought in her last fight, she assured me that she can make 145lbs but she would even welcome a fight at 155lbs.
