#2 ranked 145+ pound fighter Lacie Jackson (10-2-0) defeated #21 ranked 145+ pound fighter Christina Bannister (2-1-0) by submission (armbar) in the first round of their 155-pound championship match.
In Lacie's last 2 fights on January 14th & 29th she defeated Kathryn Sweeton (0-2-0) by TKO both times.
In December of 2010 she defeated Crystal Bentley (1-2-0) by guillotine choke.
In November of 2010 she defeated Penny Hammond (0-2-0) by triangle choke.
This is the fifth fight in a row that she has finished her opponent, four of those finishes coming in the first round.
As impressive as these five victories have been the combined record of the opponents she has defeated is (4-9)
It would be nice to see Lacie continue to go forward in her level of competition as she did in this last fight, a rematch with Krista Tacket who defeated Lacie at 145-pounds would also be a good idea.
Oh and we did call Ms. Krista Tacket out at the last fight and she stated that she would not fight Lacie her coach told us that she would never fight us again that would not get a rematch because she did not want to fight Lacie again she said she has not been training and don't think she will fight again
