Ashley Cummins defeats Jocelyn Lybarger

 


On Friday April, 8 at Tuff-N-Uff: "The Future Stars of MMA" in Las Vegas Nevada.

#1 ranked 115-pound fighter Ashley Cummins (8-0-0) defeated #17 ranked 115-pound fighter Jocelyn Lybarger (3-1-0) by verbal submission (armbar) in the first round of their 117-pound amateur match.

Ashley remains undefeated and her future plans include fighting once more as an amateur for Team USA MMA in England, then going pro before the end of the year.

Ashley is a rookie police officer who trains at St.Charles MMA and Vaghi Martial Arts, she has been training MMA four years and her coaches are Mike Rogers (MMA), Rodrigo Vaghi (BJJ) and Fuad Keranovic (Muay Thai). Ashley trains six days a week, twice a day up to eight hours a day. Her training regimen consist of cross-fit (cardio), MMA, wrestling, Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu.
