#3 ranked 105-pound fighter Liz "Lil Lightning" McCarthy (4-0-0) defeated #6 ranked 105-pound fighter Sarah "The Midget" Lagerstrom (3-2-0) by submission (guillotine) in the fourth round of their 105-pound amateur championship MMA match.
Liz successfully defends the Budo 105-pound title that she won on January, 8th against Shawnee Merill.
Liz McCarthy lives in Portland, Oregon and trains at Rise Above MMA in Milwaukee, Oregon where she is coached by Ron Andersen.
