Andy Nguyen defeats Jashanna Bynum: Fight Video

On Saturday January, 5 2013 at Conflict MMA: Carolina Cage Fights" at Township Auditorium in Charleston, South Carolina.

#16 ranked 115-pound fighter Andy "Asian Persuasion" Nguyen (4-5-0) defeated Jashanna Bynum (0-1-0) by TKO due to ground and pound in the second round of their 120 pound amateur MMA match.

Andy is a 5'4 thirty year old fighter and ring girl from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she trains at Fitness Edge MMA where she is coached by Tomar Washington and Walker Vivian.

I asked Andy why she began in MMA and this was her answer, "I went to a MMA event and I've been hooked ever since."

Andy was originally scheduled to face Delaney Owen but she dropped out and Jashanna stepped up on late notice to take the fight.

Andy is coming off of a two fight losing streak that saw her lose to Hannah Cifers (3-0) and Ashley Greenway.

She holds victories over Jessamine Ali, Liz Hardee and Shannon Morales.
